Hello I'm currently working with Windows OS 10, the OpenStudio ver 3.3.0, OpenStudio coalition ver 1.3.1, and the OpenStudio Plugin 1.7.0. No conflicts exist with the model I was using to integrate the TBD measure on.
I am interested in upgrading the TBD due to conflicts I did recently have with the OpenStudio Plugin 1.4.0 and with all other wares being equal to above as stated. When upgrading the existing Thermal Bridging & Derating measure to the latest version available, (my source was the TBD guide (https://rd2.github.io/tbd/)). I think this guide is excellent. Earlier this year I had downloaded the tbd measure using the OpenStudio application via the Building Component Library BCL. I did not notice there was a (tar.gz) file type at this time (it may have existed, i missed this?), but this file does appear within the TBD guide documentation...
Please help characterize the following questions 1, 2, and 3.
- The (tbd.zip) and (tbd.tar.gz), where should these be uploaded, I assume the (C:\Users\Admin\OpenStudio\Measures) directory?
- How do these files work together?
- Should I upgrade the OpenStudio Coalition application from 1.3.1 to properly integrate the most recent TBD release measure? The BCL (https://bcl.nrel.gov/content/8890787b-8c25-4dc8-8641-6be1b6c2357) see btm of page in "Versions" states minimum compatibility OpenStudio SKD ver. 2.9.1 - I have ver. 3.3.0 installed, so should be okay here. Questions 1 & 2 above are the most pressing. Thank you for any help with this!
