Hello everyone,

I'm currently working on assigning an HVAC system for a mid-rise apartment in Istanbul. This system comprises a natural gas boiler for heating and a split air conditioning system for cooling.

As I'm new to building HVAC systems from scratch using OpenStudio, I'm reaching out to inquire if there's a pre-existing system template available in the OpenStudio library that matches this setup. If anyone has recommendations or insights to share, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Thanks!

Since it seems you are a beginner I think you should start by exploring OS Measures on the BCL that can help you "fill in the blanks" on your model inputs in ways that are consistent with established practice. You can access the BCL from within the OS App by going to Components & Measures > Find Measures on the top menu bar. If you access that way it's easier to download OS Measures in a way that you'll find them on the Measures tab in the OS App. Or you can browse directly on the BCL website.

Longer term there are better ways to work with Measures (even to create models from scratch) but initially it's good to experiment with a few and see how they change your existing model and outputs.
