I upgraded SketchUp to the latest release of SketchUp 2024 and now the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in doesn't work. I am using the latest OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in and latest OpenStudio Application 1.7.0. Is there any way to use OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in and the newest SketchUp?
SketchUp 2024 upgraded the built in Ruby version to 3.2, the last release of the OpenStudio SDK was using Ruby 2.7 which is not compatible with Ruby 3.2. The next release of OpenStudio SDK 3.8.0 should be updating the Ruby version of the OpenStudio SDK to 3.2. Once that is in, the next version of the OpenStudio Application 1.8.0 will update its version of Ruby to 3.2 and the OpenStudio SketchUp Plug-in should work with SketchUp 2024.
