How to modify building occupancy?

I'd like to specify changes to the building occupancy and run simulations - what is the right way to do this? To provide a simple example, let's assume that a building had zero occupancy from 4pm to 6am and 100% occupancy from 6am to 4pm - I am specifying occupancy through a fraction here. Now, I want to change the occupancy to 90% from 6am to 4pm and run the energy simulation for the building. I'd essentially like to simulate what happens if fewer number of people occupy the building at different times of the day or week.

Here are my questions: 1) Should I change the 'People' field (within Group - Internal Gains)? or the Occupancy schedules (within Group - Schedules)? 2) If I change the occupancy schedule, will the changes carry through to lighting and HVAC? So, if fewer number of people are occupying the building, will that mean the simulation accounts for fewer lights being used and lower HVAC load?

@MiaS you should change the schedule for the people and the lights. Note that there aren´t half persons.
