Defining thermal Zones

There's a "Thermal Zones" tab in the OpenStudio Application (e.g. add new zones, set zone equipment and thermostats, etc.). One associates a thermal zone to a space in the "Spaces" tab (just above it). You can also create thermal zones and link them to spaces via SDK-based scripting (see here and here)?
