In the energy meter of the standard report electricity showed the results for "facility" and "building", the gap are pretty small. I wonder that's the differences?

Thanks

The meter details output (.mtd) file gives a description of the outputs wrapped up in each energy meter. It appears that Electric:Facility contains all electricity from internal loads and HVAC systems. Electricity:Building only contains electricity from internal loads (lights, electric equipment, etc).

In some instances (see RefrigeratedWarehouse.idf in E+ example files), the Electricity:Building meter can include Refrigeration (fan, heater, defrost energy consumption for Refrigeration Zone Air Chillers) in addition to internal loads like lighting and equipment. In the case of RefrigeratedWarehouse.idf, Refrigeration is metered separately from HVAC energy.
