resstock sampling concept

Hi,

I have tried manual sampling using resstock with different sample sizes (e.g., 100,120, 1k) and comparing those, I believe that none of the rows between 100 and 120 samples (for example) are similar. If I were to use 100 samples initially and later I decided to increase the number of samples for a region by +50, is there a way to make sure that the additional 50 are the only ones updated/added? (Besides manually adding 50 samples to the buildstock.csv files generated initially?)

Best, Mohammad

No, the sampling method takes into account the number of samples that you ask for to attempt to cover the parameter space in a way that best reflects the source data distribution.

Thanks @Eric Wilson for clarifying! Appreciated! Given that, what is best way to perform a resstock upgrade but keep the baseline similar to 10 upgrades that NREL has done for EUSS? I am trying to make sure at the end if we are comparing upgrades, we are comparing apples to apples.
