How to set custom range for E+ 23.1?

asked 1 year ago

I want to have a custom range for my energyplus simulation V23.1.

I know for older versions of E+, you can have RunPeriod:CustomRange object for custom run periods, but I wasn't able to find much information for 23.1. When I tried RunPeriod:CustomRange, E+ says it's not a valid object type.

Thanks

The RunPeriod:CustomRange object type allowed you to use special weather files, usually for multi-year simulations with the Begin Year and End Year input fields. In later versions of EnergyPlus, these features have been incorporated into the "standard" RunPeriod object type.
