coupling JEPlus and CONTAM for parametric simulation

asked 2 years ago

updated 2 years ago

Hi there,

I am trying to couple JEPLus and CONTAM in order to perform parametric simulation to identify most influential parameters impacting energy consumption and indoor environmental quality including CO2 concentration, indoor air temperature and thermal comfort. I need to generate the csv file for the sensitivity analysis consists of all inputs and requested outputs. Can someone help me with that?

Thanks Divyanshu

I think the easiest option would be to use the parametric analysis utility that CONTAM just released which you could use instead of JEPlus.

That said, if you want to use JEPlus or need to couple CONTAM with EnergyPlus... Did you try following Section 6.1 (EnergyPlus-CONTAM Coupling Process) from the CONTAM User Guide and Program Documentation, Version 2.2? Then you may be able to use JEPlus as usual with an EnergyPlus IDF file.
