I hope this is the right place to ask my question, if not I will delete my question immediately. I don’t have much experience in energy simulations but I need an .osm template file which includes standard building and construction types for residential mid-rise buildings. I need for my simulations space types like: Kitchen, living room, bedroom, toilet, hall, staircase etc. The best would be if the template has schedules and material sets included as well. It would help me a lot if someone knows where i can get such .osm template file from, without having to create it manually. Thank you very much

Have you tried the Create DOE Prototype Measure? You can access it directly from BCL (e.g. OpenStudio App). It has MURB options. Individual housing units are modelled as single spaces/thermal zones (they're not broken down into kitchen, bedroom, etc.). Space loads are aggregated, yet representative of typical occupancies (e.g. DHW draws).
