Has anyone tried to study the impact of using different solar distribution fields on Energy and comfort results? I have modeled a building and using FullInteriorAndExterior results in large number of errors, (which is understandable, due to non-convex surfaces) but I don't get any errors while using MinimalShadowing.

I was wondering, will it make a big difference if I continue using MinimalShadowing instead of FullInteriorAndExterior?

Any thoughts?

It will if you have shadowing from any exterior surface including overhangs and fins. MinimalShadowing takes into account only shadowing from windows and doors reveals.

I don't have any overhangs or fins but what about adjacent blocks or buildings (Adjacent blocks and buildings will have impact anyway, no matter which of these solar radiation model I use)?

Not necessarily. MinimalShadowing doesn't take into account shadowing from exterior surfaces such as exterior walls from other zones or detached shading elements.
