OpenStudio Application: Server Room Modeling

Hello,

I have a server room in the building I'm modeling. I've been using the IT Room schedule from the BCL. However, the cooling load is lower than in the Computer Room Air Cond. Unit (CRAC) in the actual building. I believe this is because the server equipment continuously generates heat and the CRAC unit works all the time. How do I go about this? How do I create a heat generator?

Thanks in advance.

Put a higher load in the zone. Such as an ElectricEquipment or an ElectricEquipment:ITE:AirCooled.

If you take ElectricEquipment, pay attention, in addition to the wattage, to the Fraction Radiant, Fraction Latent, and Fraction Lost fields. Read carefully the section titled Heat Gains from Electric Equipment
