Hi,

It's been about 5 months of learning OpenStudio. I'm trying to add DHW to my model (using OpenStudio version 2.4.0). There doesn't seem to be a hot water service loop in my OpenStudio version. I tried using the service water loop with a plant loop. Would this work?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The OpenStudio Application describes it pretty well, but ahead of those instructions I would fist click the green + at the top left and choose the "Service Hot Water Plant Loop", which you mention in your question. It will come in with a pump, water heater, setpoint manager and water use connection. Click on the water use connection to add one or more water use equipment objects.
