Hi,

I need some illuminance values throughout the year for a thermal zone and so I decided to use Radiance in my OpenStudio model. I followed the Radiance tutorial in the OpenStudio User Docs and when applying an illuminance map and the BCL measure, the model fails, giving out this error. I suspect this is related to the fact that I'm using MacOS, because on my Windows machine it doesn't give an error but the simulation just ends, without actually running the model, saying:

Initializing workflow.Processing OpenStudio Measures.Applying RadianceMeasureCompleted.

Any help is appreciated.

Turns out that, besides an illuminance map, both a daylighting control and a glare sensor are required even if you don't use them. This and this question mention this.
