I am using a trial version of DB, would anyone know how to turn on the wall thickness option to so I can see the thicker external wall?

Thanks so much!

Hi, If you want to change the way that walls are shown in DesignBuilder you can go to Construction tab and under the Geometry, Areas and Volumes header you can make any changes you want. You can also insert the thickness you want to see in "Fixed Surface Thicknesses" sub-header. I hope it'll help you.

Thanks for the reply!

Somehow my model in 3D view does not show a wall thickness like the one shown in the DB's tutorial video. Is it because mine is a trial version?

I am finding it especially important to be able to see the wall thickness since the other surface elements e.g. windows are crashing because of my thick stone wall, and the simulation have errors. I can't quite figure out which elements crash if I can't see them in the 3D model....

Hi, I don't think that it is because of using a trial version but I'm not sure. You can submit a ticket to DesignBuilder website. They may be able to fix the problem.
