How do I show a tempering valve in a plant loop using EnergyPlus? I can't add it to the connector list, so I'm at a loss. Thanks!

Please use existing tags and tag your question with the software you're using (EnergyPlus?)

I've tried several times to edit the tags to no avail.

Have you looked at the E+ example files? HP_wICSSolarCollector.idf and SolarCollectorFlatPlateWater.idf are the two that use TemperingValve (this is a link to the I/O reference guide, you need to read that too).

It needs to be put on its own branch, the other only branch would be the one with your WaterHeater:Mixed object (no bypass or anything else)

Also, the ConnectorList object in EnergyPlus is just looking for the splitter & mixer on the supply or demand side of the plantloop. As Julien mentioned, the TemperingValve is on a branch between the splitter & mixer.
