Hello,

How do I add more Building Types to the "Space Type and Construction Set Wizard" I have a Building Component Library Account.

Secondly, I'm working on a university building with classrooms, laboratories, gaming/simulation computer labs, CNC heavy machine labs, conference rooms, server rooms, mechanical/HVAC rooms, etc. Any advice to go about when setting up Spaces and thermal zones in this kind of building? I have the HVAC plan for the system with schedules.

Thanks in advance.

You can run the measure multiple times with different building types to create an extended set of space types. You might for example pull in space types from secondary school, outpatient, and maybe the new laboratory building type.

Keep in mind when you pull in space types from different building types that they have different schedules that you may need to adjust. For example The secondary school has different operation in the summer than the rest of the year; that isn’t the case with the other building types. Hours of operation, load profile shapes, and weekend behavior may vary.

The building types for the measure come from DOE prototype buildings, and there likely isn’t a good match for example for the machine labs. In that case you can make a space type from scratch or modify a copy of the space type you find that is most like this.
