In my model, I have applied a measure named "OpenStudio Result (PH) unit". But, after applying the measure or any other measures the file couldn't save. If I try to save the file then it shows "Failed to save model, make sure that you do not have the location open and that you have correct write access". I am using OpenStudio version SDK 3.1.0. Would you please help me out to fix the problem and make a solution?

That is a custom version of measure that NREL didn’t create or maintain. The OpenStudio application should load in “OpenStudio Results” by default. If you remove that measure from your workflow does the file save. I would also try save as to a different directory on your computer. Make sure you don’t have a windows explorer window open to the same location. If that doesn’t work, I would try restarting your computer and trying again.

Thanks, David for your answer. But when I am applying "OpenStudio Result (PH Unit)" measure, then my OpenStduio result doesn't show the Annual Overview and makes an error. The error said that the "Annual overview section failed and was skipped because: Optional not Initialized". Would you please help me out with how can I fix the problem?

I would suggest you try using the non-custom version of OpenStudio Results measure. This should download automatically from BCL the first time you launch the OpenStudio Application or PAT.

Hello David, I have used the non-custom version from BCL, but it also shows the same error. Would you please suggest what should I do. Regards, Washim

If EUI calculation in general section fails because the building doesn't have a floor area this could cause the error. This can happen if no spaces are not assigned to zones, or if all zones are not included in the building floor area. Can you check the EnergyPlus HTML file floor area and see if both it and the annual energy consumption are non-zero. If that is the case please email the model to openstudio@nrel.gov or post on cloud drive of some type and I can take a look at it.
