Anyone else get this error EVERY time they save the model:

It is very annoying. It always ends up saving the model anyway.

Could it be that you have the OpenStudio directory of your model opened in windows explorer or something else? For example, if your model is saved in "MyModel.osm", there's a directory "MyModel" that is auto-created by the OpenStudioApplication. When you save, it tries to rewrite everything and it looks like some file is locked by another process.

Thank you Adrien. You make a good point. I have tried it such that the only application I have open is OpenStudio and I still get the same error message. I suspect it is because the files are located on a folder connected to the cloud. When I move the files to my desktop, the problem seems to go away.

I am encountering the same failed to save error using OS SKD 3.5.1. This happens after I added "OpenStudio results" measure. Any Idea how to fix it? I don't have the location open.

This problem seems to be happening more frequently with the most recent version 1.6.0 (3.6.1). Unfortunately, I cannot pin it down. There seems to be no rhyme or reason.

This occurs by using too long osm filenames.

This was the problem for me, after shortening the file name it managed to save the file.
