Is there a summary of EnergyPlus development over its lifetime?

asked 2015-05-14 16:23:58 -0500

I'm wondering if a summary of all major changes / features exists for EnergyPlus's full lifespan? Eg. In which version (and when) was the FullInteriorExterior solar gain calculation added? It would be interesting and useful, to be able to see what changes where made since a previous modeling study was done, for example, to assess if it would be worth updating the study.

@Hayes, not sure about summary of all major changes for EnergyPlus's full lifespan but each release has readme.html file which has section "Highlights of this release" which contains highlights of improved and new features by category.

Hi Chandan, thanks for you comment. That is a good point. I'm hoping to find a summary of all of those 'Highlights' so I wouldn't have to download old versions.
