How do I know the energyPlus simulation year

hi! everyone I have a question.In energyplus,I can set the begin month/day and end month/day. but I can't know the simulation year.I just know a weather data.so I hope someone answer my question. Thank you.

You can check the answers in Year in the EnergyPlus results and you can refer to the RunPeriod object in the I/O Reference. Specifically, you can check the "Begin Year" and "End Year" fields. I hope this answers your question!

yeah. I found the RunPeriod object.In this,I know the start year ROW. But when I set the time in some year number,I find the simulation results is same..

maybe my energyplus version is 8.5.so it can't work.Are there any other ways to find it

YAQ, did you check Year in the EnergyPlus results post? Are you trying to run your model based on the weather data of a specific year? If that post doesn't answer your question can you please clarify what you are trying to do exactly? so we can understand and find best way to answer your question.

If you're using version 8.5, then in order to control the year you should use the RunPeriod:Custom Range object. That object was merged with the RunPeriod object for 9.0 and later. I agree with the previous comment that it isn't clear what you're expecting to happen.

Ammar De.I check the Year in the EnergyPlus results post.I want to know the results viewer is OpenStudio? I'm trying to run my model based on the soecific year.but the results is the same . I find that the epw file is the average meteorological year.So there's no simulation of which year.I don't know if that's true.
