Is there an already existing E+ output, or OS reporting measure that gives a description of the modeling inputs?
Specifically I am interested in generating a description of the HVAC systems page to feed into other reports.

See if this post on the annual end use summary report helps. Among other things it summaries air loops, plant loops, and zone equipment. This report pulls data from both the OSM model and the tabular EnergyPlus results. It is by no means a comprehensive report. You could extend existing tables or add new tables.
