I'm new to BEopt and am wondering what the difference is between the inputs for the cooking range. Options for gas include

  • Gas
  • Gas, 80% usage
  • Gas, 120% usage

What are the 80% and 120% referring to?

The electric and propane inputs have the same options to select from.

The % usage options reflect occupants that perform cooking 20% more than or less than the average occupant. So the cooking range efficiency is unchanged across the three options while the occupant behavior is changed.
