Rated Supply Fan Power Per Volume Flow Rate

What is "Rated Supply Fan Power Per Volume Flow Rate" it is in the openstudio single speed DX heating and cooling coil object but not described in the input output reference.

Is it the "Rated Evaporator Fan Power Per Volume Flow Rate"

But for DX Htg Coil, the energyplus corresponding object field is "Rated Supply Fan Power Per Volume Flow Rate", see image below

It is worth to note both values do not directly affect simulations results in term of temperatures and energy consumptions.

Why bother having them as inputs if they don't affect the simulations?

Usually "Rated" input fields allow EnergyPlus to calculate capacity or efficiency metrics of HVAC components from an industry standardized set of conditions. For single-speed DX cooling coils, this is ANSI/AHRI Standard 210/240 for standard rating cooling capacities under 19 kW (<65,000 Btu/hr) and ANSI/AHRI Standard 340/360 for standard rating cooling capacities from 19 kW to below 73.2 kW (65,000 Btu/hr to <250,000 Btu/hr).

[cont.] These are informational outputs logged in the EIO and sometimes HTML files so that you can then review SEER and other rating metrics typically used to define HVAC components. This is why they "do not directly affect simulations results in term of temperatures and energy consumptions" -- they are just used to calculate SEER and other rating metrics. HSPF would be an example metric for DX heating coils.
