Hello everyone,

I designed a model on OpenStudio, exported the IDF file and opened it on EnergyPlus. What happens is that when simulating on EnergyPlus seems like there's something wrong with temperatures or model location, but I'm new to simulation and I can't find out what it is.

My model is located in Brazil, but when simulating with EnergyPlus, november-february zone interior temperatures are lower than the rest of the months. It seems is like winter and summer seasons are inverted.

For the HVAC system, which I made the configurarion on EnergyPlus, I get higher values for cooling on June-August than in November-January.

When simulating in OpenStudio though, everithing seems normal.

I appreciate any help on the subject.

The OpenStudio model contains a link to the desired weather file. EnergyPlus doesn't have an equivalent object, to this (although it does save design days in the model). When you run the IDF with EPLaunch you need to choose the Brazil weather file. You are probably running with a default weather file like Chicago.
