Hey all, I am a beginner in open studio energy simulation, and I have two questions: First: the case study (the city) : Fez-Morocco, I cannot find a data file on the day of the design (.ddy). The second is when I start my simulation with simple models, the simulation stops. " Initializing workflow. Processing OpenStudio Measures. Translating the OpenStudio Model to EnergyPlus. Processing EnergyPlus Measures. Starting Simulation. Failed." Thank you for directing me to solutions. Thanks for your interest.

@RedouanMa these should really be two separate posts (one for .ddy file and other for severe error).

Cannot find the ddy file

Normally you download .ddy files for the .epw file you can obtain from the EnergyPlus weather site. If the .ddy file for Fez Morocco is not on that site, there are posts on Unmet Hours about getting ddy files from other sources here, here, and here.

Simulation stops

In order to know how to help you with the error causing your simulation to stop, we will need to see either the .osm input file for OpenStudio or the .idf input file it creates for EnergyPlus along with the .err error output file. You can find the error file under the folder OpenStudio creates with the same name as your .osm file, then under the "run" folder. You can use Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. to provide links for others to access these files and help you.
