Broken Link for Energyplus 8.3 Documentation

asked 10 years ago

When trying to access the documentation for Energyplus 8.3 (http://energyplus.net/documentation) from Github (https://github.com/NREL/EnergyPlus/re...) I get a webpage that indicates that the domain energyplus.net may be for sale (http://domainnamesales.com/inquire?d=...). Does anyone know the actual location of the new documentation?

So we are overhauling the EnergyPlus documentation for this (8.3) release. The docs are going to be hosted on the upcoming energyplus.net website for EnergyPlus, there is just a slight delay in getting everything all set up. If you'd like a sneak peek, including a few rough edges, check them out for now at nrel.github.io/EnergyPlus. In the long run, this location will hold the current ("daily") documentation, so that won't be a great resource for most users. The energyplus.net/documentation will be the place to check out the documentation for the last major release.

Update: We are going to be working on search, and we will also be adding "download as pdf" functionality, though it's not available now.

Update 2: The docs should now be live at energyplus.net/documentation. As I mentioned above, there are a few rough edges still, but they are being actively worked on already. Thanks!
