Openstudio Baseline Chiller COP

I am confused about which parameter I should use when deciding the baseline chiller COP through the EnergyPluse report. Should I use (a) cooling coils: Nominal total Capacity or use (b) Annual and peak values - Cooling: Cooling Maximum Value (CoolingCoils:PlantLoopCoolingDemand). The value from option (b) for my model is around 20% smaller than the value from option (a). That is why I got confused about which value to use.

Are you interested in average chiller COP from the annual simulation or chiller COP at rated conditions?

Chiller values are listed under the Central Plant table in the Equipment Summary report. There are IPLV values and nominal efficiency. If you want run time efficiency, use the Chiller COP Output:Variable.
