MPC for EnergyPlus
Does anyone who knows how to use SimCon with GenOpt to equip the MPC (model predictive control) into EnergyPlus to optimize such as HVAC setpoint? The SimCon was an opensource software developed by Brian Coffey (https://simulationresearch.lbl.gov/GO...).
The source code was written by Java, which I can not run it by the Eclipse software. Even though I read the author's related paper, doctoral dissertation, but I still can not fully understand how they work. I hope someone could help me.
At last, I just want to ask why is the best or quick way to use MPC for EnergyPlus, rather than RC model.
