I have the following problem when running one simulation:
Unable to Delete the directory ....../TEMP1 perhaps file is in use?
Can someone tell me how to fix this problem please?
Did you open one of the files from this TEMP1 directory in another application (like Excel)? If so, then BEopt cannot delete the temporary simulation directory because a file is in use.
If worst comes to worst and you can't get around this issue, try restarting your computer.

Thanks for the answer. However, I still have this problem, I have not been able to make the BEopt work again since April, but now I really need it.
I checked the TEMP1 file and it is always empty. Restarting the computer does not solved the problem. Is there any way I can check if there is a hidden file opening somewhere else? or is this not the problem.
I'm having the same problem. I've been using BEopt since v.2.2 and have not had this happen before. I've tried restarting my computer. Also tried removing and re-installing BE2.8. I had updated to 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8 sequentially. I tried manually clearing the files in the TEMP1 folder. I had not opened any of those files. I've tried to find how to disable the firewall for BEopt but I'm not good at "under the hood" work when it comes to computers.
One clue is that just before this error started appearing, I ran a simulation with multiple cases, as I've done many times before. This time, only the first case had information in the output file--all of the other cases had run but showed nothing in the Output page.
