Hi,

I have attached the OSM file and the eplus output file. I don't understand where I have made mistake.

  • The cooling coil design load is 2837396 W whereas, its nominal capacity is 1775951 W
  • The cooling tower has less wattage (2682661 W) than electric chiller (2837348 W).
  • The comfort parameter is never met through out the year.

Please help.

Regards, Smruti

I have rectified the problem my self.

  • The problem was related to the sizing factors. I gave a global sizing factor of 1.25 for cooling equipment as well as 1.25 for chiller. This made the chiller having more wattage than the cooling tower.

  • The comfort parameters are satisfied after I changed the default setting (like loop exit temperature and loop temperature difference)about condenser and chiller loops in open studio.
