Hello Everyone, I'm trying to get the AC Window type working well on my model. The problem is the consumption of the base-model still too low compare to the actual building. Even though I used E+ template “WindACAuto” from the example files, I still don’t get the right consumption of the actual building. I added 3 more zones after I added the template in order to put one AC window unit in each conditioned zone of the building. HELP APPRECIATED! THANK YOU.

I would look at two points to start with:

  1. Make sure that infiltration in your model is set according to the situation in your actual building. That might increase demand profoundly depending on your building insulation level.
  2. If the building is low rise then your ground model have to be tweaked to represent realistic ground temperatures. You can read that post for more details.
