E+:change paramters periodically (i.e. every 4/6/12 hours)

I am doing modelling using E+, I would like to adjust some parameters periodically in E+ (i.e. every 4 hours I will change wall temperautre or every 30mins I will change the outdoor surface convevtion heat transfer coefficent). The parameters to be adjusted is not regularlly changed so this cannot be achieved by setting schedules.

Is the possible for me to achieve in E+ in other ways? I am just thinking loudly, maybe during every certain time interval, I pause E+ and update the parameters, then continue runing E+ with new parameters?
