No, not currently. GLHEPro has been able to write the IDF file objects for EnergyPlus, but the reverse is not supported.

Is it possible to extract the same type of data from energy plus file that you would need to run the GLHE pro?

Not automatically. You can manually extract the data from the IDF file and enter it manually, but there are no methods available to create GLHEPro input from EnergyPlus.

What is the information that GLHE pro needs? I do not have a purchased version yet as I am still figuring out if it is useful for this task.

Basic information about the ground heat exchanger you want to design; pipe sizes, HX configuration, soil and grout properties (though there is a small library of these available within the program), etc. Heat pump loads are also going to be needed.
