Anyone ever have this error when using AirLoopHVAC:UnitarySystem?

* Severe * SetDXCoilTypeData: Could not find Coil "Name="WTR-TO-AIR HP CLG COIL 27"

Using OS 2.4.0 and exported it to IDF. I can see the coils are there but the AirLoops are not finding them.

Don't export to IDF. Run the model in OS first then find the in.idf file in your project folder under the run subfolder.

The reason you need to do that is due to the fact that parts of your idf model (in your case the HVAC templates) are created using the expand preprocessor and that would take place only when you run your model simulation in OS.

I pretty much kicked it out to E+ to see if I got the same error as I did in OS. I think the issue still comes back to the unitary system because I changed deleted the setpoint managers and everything worked fine.

@jmoody could you post link to your model? Do you use EMS?
