1._How can I define the North Axis angle in my model if the geo-location is not available for my SU version (SU Pro 2016).

After I finished the geometry, I realized the EAST facade is oriented wrong. I read in some of the answered questions here that the green axis represents north in my model, which was supposed to be correct, but when I use the Shadow tab and start swiping from morning to afternoon in SU I realize the sun is rising in the wrong facade. 2._If I rotate the building does that interfere in the simulation? I mean, will OS understand the correction in the orientation I've done?

3._In Legacy/Euclid there is a place to configure the north axis angle, but in OS no. So, how can I make sure it is correct in OS?

Thanks

You can rotate the building to adjust orientation in SketchUp and it will be recognized in OpenStudio and the simulation. See this forum post. The green line indicates north.

You can also adjust the north axis in the OpenStudio app. See this forum post. An orange line will appear in SketchUp showing your new north axis.
