In Openstudio: After defining the schedule type to specific type, can I change it? (e.g. from on/off to fraction etc.) Thanks

Within the OpenStudio application, it does not appear that you are able to change the schedule type. If you know the correct text for the schedule type that you want to change, then you should be able to edit the OSM file in a text editor, save the OSM, then open it again in the OpenStudio application. I would recommend saving a copy of your OSM before this process in case something goes wrong.

This post shows a list of schedule types found in the hvaclibrary.osm library file that contains HVAC component data used by OpenStudio.
