I used a material from BCL and I want to change the thickness. Why does it not show up in the materials tab?

I downloaded "Steel-Framed - 6 in. Studs - 16 in. OC - R-21 Cavity Insulation" from BCL. I used it in a construction and I want to change its thickness. Why does it not appear in the materials tab?

What you downloaded from the BCL is a layered construction. The construction doesn't have a defined thickness, rather it is made up of one more more material objects, most of which have a thickness as one of their inputs. Below is an image of the layers. an example construction I downloaded. "Wall Insulation [33]" represents a composite layer of the steel framing with insulation in the cavity.

If you move from the "Constructions" sub-tab to the "Materials" sub-tab you can find "Wall Insulation [33]" and change it's thickness or other characteristics.
