hi, to build an energy model with OS there are a lot of setting to consider. It is very hard to check all the settings when you don't know the definitions for each of them.

Is an OpenStudio handbook available? I need to know and understand the meaning of the setting in the software.

thank you

This link has interactive PDF'S for the Plugin, stand alone app, and PAT.

They can also serve as a good printed reference

OpenStudio is merely a GUI for the EnergyPlus engine so most of what you see in OS is reflected in the EnergyPlus Documentation, specifically the Input Output Reference.

If you are just getting started, the new OS website has a lot of information for that after which the IO Reference is indispensable for learning what everything does in OS.

If you want to know what an object does in OS I suggest doing a search of the EnergyPLus Object Index.
