I am learning to use Openstudio to simulate with EnergyPlus and Randiance as engines. When I follow the tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXnL6... to establish a single zone with two windows on the south facade and view the output generated by radiance via ResultViewer of Openstudio, my illuminance map looks quite different from the one generated in the youtube video.

In Youtube video, the outline within the illuminance map seems quite smooth while the outline in my illuminance map is quite stiff. What should I adjust to get the illuminance map with the similar looking in Youtube video? BTW my PC is Windows 7, 64bits and my Openstudio version is 1.13.0. My building model is the same size as in video and so is the grid point values of the illuminance map. I am quite fresh in this area, any advices would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Eh... my forum point is not enough to post the pictures for better illustration. Could some one please help to upload the pics? Thanks very very much.

It's unfortunate you can't post images yet (you need more 'karma points'), as I'm not sure what you mean by 'stiff'. I assume it's a resolution issue. Things to check are the resolution of your illuminance map, and the Radiance simulation settings. If your grid and space are the same as the model in the video, then confirm you are using the "high" quality setting in the Radiance measure. If the results are still unsatisfactory, perhaps you could post some example images on Dropbox or Gdocs or similar?

Dear @rpg777, thank you very much for your time and reply. I have posted related pics on the Dropbox and links have been added in the comment of this post. You mentioned I should set the quality "high", do you mean I should set the "fine" mode in Radiance setting within Openstudio simulation setting? Or this mean others?
