Hi all,

I am trying to model a system which has heat recovery coil designed at all exhaust air stream in E+. I can only see unitary system has the capability to add heat recovery coils at exhaust but my systems are mostly VAV distribution system. Any suggestion on how to model it?

I would take a look at the HeatExchanger:AirToAir objects in EnergyPlus (documentation HERE).

The HeatExchanger:AirToAir:SensibleAndLatent object is frequently used to approximate a sensible only run-around coil by setting the latent effectiveness to zero. You might check out the following posts for some additional insight on the use of this object...

Thanks for your advise! I think I will explore the option of using EMS to modify the district heating loop input depending on the energy recovered from the exhaust air.
