Hi all, I’m a new user in OpenStudio and wonder if I have this arrangement for CHW and CW loops correctly. Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The HX on the primary and secondary loops are the same object and this exchanger is also provided a waterside economizer for the chiller loop. My question is how can I connect this HX to the CW loop for a FreeCooling purpose? I have attached the photos of this configuration for your reference. Thank you again.

It doesn't look like your link is working for the image on the plant loops. Please see this UnmetHours thread for more information on doing this in OpenStudio: How to Model Water-Side Economizer in OpenStudio

Thank you Taylor. I realized that I used the same HX object for both primary/secondary loop and CW loop for WSE. When I tried to connect the HX object, which I have already used it for the primary/secondary loop, to the CW loop, then it doesn’t work. I have created another HX object for the WSE purpose and connected it to the CW loop and it works fine. However, I struggle with the WSE because it doesn’t activate at all. Any advice, please? Thanks again.
