I wonder if I can create customized HVAC template in addition to the basic ones that are provided in OS, without using measures (Forgive my laziness to learn ruby...) I know DesignBuilder offer this option, but wonder if OS does too. Thanks

There is no direct way to add custom HVAC templates by extending the GUI. The best way to make a custom HVAC template is to write a measure to add the system. The measure could pull in pre-build systems from a resource OSM, or they could build the system on the fly. In either case they can optionally connect existing model objects to the new system.

I am surprised to find out NREL has not written such a measure. It would be very useful for initial PAT analysis when evaluating systems.

We have made measures to model the AEDG HVAC systems for school and office buildings.
