HI I'm new to openStudio energy modeling. I've been following several tutorials. But most of them have a different openStudio plugin, which has a lot of options. The one I have is called "Legacy version". Can someone tell me what's going on. I have sketchup 2015 pro ,OpenStudio 1.12.0 , Energy plus 8.5. The legacy plugin version is 1.014 Please let me make sense of this. Thanks

Hello, i work with Legacy plugin too, could you post a screen capture of the problem? Could be an instalation problem or incompatibility plugin with Sketchup version problem. Greetings!

Hi You are correct. It was a compatibility issue. The new openstudio installs the full version sketchup pluggin automatically. Thanks for responding. I searched everywhere for an answer. Thanks

This may be not be exact answer, but some background may help. Legacy OpenStudio and OpenStudio are basically two different software applications that do many of the same things. Legacy OS is/was geared as a 3D interface for EnergyPlus whereas OpenStudio is a full blown software that runs on top of EnergyPlus. They are both extensions for Sketchup, but they cannot both be enabled at the same time. It may require multiple open/closes. But within Sketchup disable the OpenStudio Extension, restart Sketchup & enable the Legacy extension, restart sketchup. This should load Legacy OS and not OpenStudio.

Thank you for the background info. It took some time to wrap around how sketchup openstudio and Energy plus are interacting.
