Dear users:

Is there an easy way in OpenStudio of substituting a determined layer within a construction without doing the whole construction again?

Thank you very much.

The "eraseLayer" and "insertLayer" methods for the LayeredConstruction object support choosing an index (layer position), so a measure could be written to remove or swap a specific layer, but the OpenStudio GUI doesn't support this.

For reference, the answer would be the similar if someone wants to know about re-ordering ScheduelRuleset rules.

Not currently, at least within the application. This is, however, one of the highest-voted feature requests.
