free cooling with geotabs

Hi,

I'm modeling a geotab system for a building. The system has a borehole field connected to a heat pump for heating. As for cooling, I use the water temperature coming from the ground 12-13°C to do some free cooling.

On DesignBuilder, we cannot connect directly the borehole fields to the secondary loop, but we need to set a cooling heat pump with its characteristics. Do you know how to model this passive cooling by eliminating the cooling capacity of the HP? I hope I was clear.

Many Thanks,

you can connect the borehole field to the demand site by using a fluid heat exchanger. (condenser loop slippter/mixer to CHW Loop supply slitter/mixer)
