Dear everyone. I am preparing energy modell for 4-floor office building in Poland. For modelling purpose I use CARRIER HAP software For baseline I have to model system 9 for heated only spaces. System by descrition : Warm air furnace provided by Constant Air Volume AHU + Fossil fuel furnace. Our building uses remote hot water from municipal hot water grid so I choose Remote Source Water Plant and hot water as a source of heat.

The problem is which system type should I choose? I saw somewhere template for system 9 and it was modelled as Equipment Type: Split AHU Air System Type CAV Single Zone

But in our modell we have multiply spaces each floor which we have to supply, so Single Zone isn`t good.

My last choose was CAV - 2 Deck Multizone but I am not sure about that case and I can`t modell humidification for those system

Thank You in advice for any help ! Przemylaw Rejczak Polish Code Energy Certification Assessor

Is the project pursuing LEED v4? For LEED 2009, ASHRAE 90.1-2007 applies - no System 9. For ASHRAE 90.1-2010, System 9 only applies to heated only storage facilities, not for an office building. If the building is heated only, you still have to model a cooling system based on the 90.1-2010 System type. 90.1-2007 stipulates the same requirement - cooling is to be modeled even if there is no cooling in the proposed design.
