OpenStudio IDF generation for EnergyPlus - Missing Headings?

OpenStudio generates and idf which can be opened & simulated in EnergyPlus, no issue. The file can be opened/inspected with a text editor, also no issue. But when compared to an idf generated by EnergyPlus the 'headings' are missing. [!- ======== etc]. While not necessary for simulation, it seems odd to me. Is this something can be added or enabled? Have tried loading into EnergyPlus IDF editor and saving from there with 'sorted' in the 'saving options', but these are not added. It is highly useful for 'code folding' & navigation with a/the text editor.
Related to this, EnergyPlus files are not 'order dependent' like DOE2 files are [yes?], but are the OpenStudio generated idf files in 'order' or is the order more 'free form'?

After, "Sorted" is checked, at least one input field of any object (e.g. SimulationControl) should be edited and saved in IDFEditor. This will arrange the input file and add headings in idf. Then the edit made through IDFEditor can be reversed in the idf. Yes, when running from EP-Launch, idfs are order independent. It can be verified by manually changing the order of objects and reviewing the results.

@dradair, You are most welcome. @JasonGlazer, A few first time users of IDFEditor I know of also faced this similar issue. Just out of curiosity, would it be possible that by simply saving the idf through IDFEditor would arrange and add headings instead of modifying and and saving it and later on reversing the changes within idf.

Whether or not this gets done soon depends on the priorities of the development team.

I just tried changing the "Saved Order of Objects" under the "Save Options.." menu in IDF Editor 1.47a (the version that comes with EnergyPlus 8.4.0) and it already shows that the file has changed (shown as an asterisk after the file name). So it looks like I already put this feature in sometime in the past.
