META: How can I add tags to a question someone else asked?

asked 10 years ago

Several questions that should have the "appendix-g" tag do not. It would make sense to add them but I am not the person that asked them originally. I can leave a comment suggesting that the tag be added but that really adds clutter.

I believe you need 200 karma points before you can change tags.

Yes, once you clear 200 a 'retag' icon will magically appear.

In the meantime, I'd say go ahead and leave your comment...either the person will see the comment and add it themselves, or someone else with 200+ might do it if they agree.
