Hi, I would like to ask if Open Studio is compatible with other softwares except Sketch Up. Does it work wit files exported from Rhino5? and does it work with meshes, NURBS etc.? Thank you!

You can run a simulation using OpenStudio directly from Rhino using Honeybee.

Honeybee has a component that connects Rhino/Grasshopper to OpenStudio. You can create the geometry in Rhino and set-up zones, constructions, schedules and system templates in Grasshopper. You can also run the analysis and visualize the results in Grasshopper but for advanced HVAC system modification you will need to use OpenStuio application after you export an osm file using the workflow that I mentioned.

Honeybee takes care of converting nurbs into mesh surfaces that EP can handle. There are also two under development components to support OpenStudio measures. Here is a preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHs-i...
